Bomb squad responds to suspicious item found during traffic stop

Late Friday night, the Broomfield Police found a suspicious item in a car during a traffic stop near Hwy 7 and Deleware Street in Broomfield.
The police notified the Adams County Bomb Squad who removed the item around 11:35 p.m. 
Evacuations were not sent out at the time.
The Broomfield Police are investigating the situation but have not released any additional information at this time. 
Two people were arrested in correlation with this incident.
