Locals discover bullet in front room

Police checked with other residents in the area and no one reported any suspicious activity.

On Sunday, a Longmont family, in the 2300 block of Collyer Street, discovered a bullet in their front room along with drywall damage next to a living room window. 

According to the Longmont Police Department, the residents heard a noise around 9 p.m. on Saturday. They assumed something had fallen inside the house. They investigated their living room but didn't notice any damage or items that night. 

The next morning, around 9 a.m., the family discovered a bullet in their living room along with the damage by the window. 

Police checked with other residents in the area and no one reported any suspicious activity.
