Longmont man arrested on child exploitation charges

On Aug. 31, the Colorado Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force secured a warrant to search the home of Longmont resident Damen Rennells-Rosa on suspicion that he was distributing materials containing child sexual abuse. 

Officials discovered multiple devices in Rennells-Rosa's home. During an investigation, officials found material that sexually exploited a child, according to a Boulder County Sheriff's Office news release.

Rennells-Rosa was arrested and taken to Boulder County Jail. He was charged with one count of sexual exploitation of a child-distribution — a Class 3 felony — and three counts of sexual exploitation of a child-possession — Class 4 felonies.

Rennells-Rosa is not eligible for bond, according to the news release.
