Longmont Economic Summit scheduled for Tuesday

The Longmont Economic Development Partnership, or Longmont EDP, will host its annual economic summit on Tuesday. The event promises “to be an opportunity for inspiration and knowledge.”

The economic summit will host Liza Adams, fractional CMO and advisor with GrowthPath Partners, LLC as the keynote speaker. Adams will highlight the discuss the impacts of Artificial Intelligence on customer behavior and business practices.

Meredith Moon, chief economist and director of economic competitiveness for the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation, will share the regional economic forecast, followed by Phyllis Resnick, PhD., executive director and lead economist of the Colorado Futures Center, who will provide insights on current and future Longmont demographic trends.

The event will also host a panel of local business leaders who will discuss Longmont’s regional strengths and opportunities, talent recruitment and retention challenges, the increasing costs and regulatory requirements for Colorado businesses and the impact of shifting demographics on Longmont’s workforce and population.

“At the Summit, attendees can expect to walk away with not only key insights that will guide them through 2024 and beyond but also invaluable connections and networking opportunities with some of the brightest minds in business,” said Erin Fosdick, executive director of Longmont EDP.
