Que’s Espresso LLC closed in January. On Jan. 18, the Colorado Department of Revenue posted seizure notices in the store’s windows.
The notice explains that the property was seized for “nonpayment of taxes, and is now in the possession of the state of Colorado.”
According to the notice, Que’s Espresso LLC owes $46,134.76 in taxes including missed payments as early as March 2020.
On Feb. 2, the property manager of the Meadowview Center posted a notice of a Demand for Compliance or Right To Possession Notice. Rob Quesenberry, owner of Que’s, was notified that he needed to provide proof of insurance to the landlord or hand over the possession of the premises. The notice also stated that Que's owed $3,818.76 in rent.
Quesenberry was not able to be reached for comment.
