Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport will now be a stop for hop-on flights.

JSX is a hop-on jet service that prides itself on competitive pricing and faster on the ground services, according to a news release by the company.

Founded in 2016, the small airline has expanded its offers into the Mountain West and now uses RMMA as a stopping point along the way. Offered flights include nonstop passage to Dallas or Burbank year-round and seasonal flights to Gunnison/Crested Butte.

The airline also serves Austin, Concord/Napa, Houston Hobby, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Monterey, Oakland, Orange County, Phoenix, San Diego, Reno-Tahoe and Westchester County.

“JSX is carving out a whole new flying experience and category which is labeled as a semi-private jet service or hop-on jet service that combines the best of both commercial and private flying, aiming to simplify and streamline the democratization of enjoyable semi-private air travel for all,” Ben Kaufman, director of marketing and communications said via email.

The perks of using this airline include reduced check-in times — an estimated 20 minutes —  more legroom, faster bag retrieval, two checked bags and complimentary amenities such as in-flight snacks and drinks.

“Our continued expansion into the Mountain West adds some of Colorado’s most idyllic and exciting destinations to our growing route map,” said JSX CEO Alex Wilcox in a news release. “With demand for travel continuing to rise, our new service to Denver/Boulder and Gunnison/Crested Butte will provide our customers with readily accessible hassle-free flights that quickly get them out of the airport and into the action.”

Flights will begin at the beginning of August.
