The city and county of Broomfield is on Accident Alert this morning due to the snow.
The National Weather Service predicts Broomfield will receive 3-5 inches of snow throughout the day and into Friday.
The NWS also releases a Winter Storm Warning for western Broomfield. This area could see between 5-10 inches of snow through Friday due to heavy snowfall.
The NWS also cautions drivers that roads will be slippery and hazardous and that travel can be difficult.
