Broomfield police report, Aug. 5, 2022

A man was cited on suspicion of careless driving and hit and run on Tuesday in the 11900 block of Gray Street after allegedly hitting two traffic signs with his semi trailer and leaving the scene.

The Broomfield Police Department reports police activity through a community crime map. The following reports include information gathered from the crime map and obtained by the Leader from the department.

  • A truck with items inside worth $150 was stolen on Monday from the 1300 block of Abilene Drive. 
  • Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct in the 12200 block of Perry Street on Monday after an adult female said her adult male roommate punched a wall and hit her during an argument. 
  • Someone broke the rear passenger window of a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Main Street on Monday, causing approximately $500 worth of damage. 
  • A man was cited on suspicion of careless driving and hit and run on Tuesday in the 11900 block of Gray Street after allegedly hitting two traffic signs with his semi trailer and leaving the scene. 
  • Property damage was reported in the 2700 block of Bryant Drive on Tuesday when a man’s car broke down outside of a home and another man caused damage to the vehicle by moving it down the street against the vehicle owner’s wishes. 
  • Police responded to reports of menacing at a business in the 13300 block of Midway Boulevard on Wednesday after two employees got into a disagreement and one of them brandished a knife at the other. One person was arrested on suspicion of menacing.
