The St. Vrain Valley Schools Education Foundation supports the St. Vrain Valley School District by providing resources and educational opportunities. On March 27, the nonprofit welcomed it new executive director, Lark Rambo.

Rambo has served in the nonprofit sector for over 20 years with 15 years in education. She most recently served as the executive director of Coal Creek Meals on Wheels. During her tenure, she increased the group’s revenue by 140% and expanded its meal delivery program by 50%.

“I am honored to be joining the St. Vrain Valley Schools Education Foundation as its new Executive Director,” Rambo said. “I was drawn to the St. Vrain Valley Schools Education Foundation because of their strong history of supporting the St. Vrain Valley School District and advancing educational opportunities for the St. Vrain community. I’m excited to build on this strong foundation and increase our investment in the community.”

The foundation’s board of directors began searching for a new executive director last fall when former executive director Josh Atherton accepted a position at the Longmont United Hospital Foundation.

The board searched for someone who could continue its commitment to the community, lead innovation and grow the amount of support the nonprofit could provide to SVVSD.

“We have found that leader in Lark and are thrilled to welcome her as our Executive Director,” said Michelle Sulek, board president at the St. Vrain Valley Schools Education Foundation.
