Longmont Multicultural Action Committee (LMAC) and the City of Longmont invites you to participate in this year’s Inclusive Communities Celebration. The purpose of the Inclusive Communities event is to celebrate the City of Longmont’s diversity as an asset within the community, and to showcase community programs that promote understanding of the many different cultures that are a part of our community. This annual celebration is a great opportunity to connect with others from different cultures.

When: Friday, September 22, 2017 starting at 6 pm

Where: Longmont Museum - 400 Quail Road

Some of the displays and performances from last year’s celebration included:

• African-American Heritage Art

• Cultural/ethnic food samples

• Cultural dances such as Peruvian, Mexican, Philippine, Tonga, Malaysian, Indian and Native American

• Indian Henna painting

• Origami art

• Traditional dresses

• Traditional photos
