The Sustainability Office and Museum invite you to the FREE “The Ways We Travel” Climate Action event. Transportation is now the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions in the United States. We’ll screen the newly released feature film The Engine Inside with a community panel discussion afterward. The event also includes learning activities for kids and an information fair with community partners and local resources. Join us to explore how people are thinking outside the car to make big impacts from climate change to socio-economic inequality to more livable cities. 

Date: Sunday, 9/10 

Location: Longmont Museum, 400 Quail Road 

Schedule:  

  • 12:30-2 p.m.: Feature Film: The Engine Inside (PG-13) 
  • 2-2:30 p.m.: Panel Discussion 
  • 2:30-4 p.m.: Sustainable Transportation Fair 

Kids zone: learning activities during film and discussion (suggested ages 5-10) 

Spanish subtitles for the film and interpretation of the panel discussion will be available.
