Broomfield residents will have another option for their daily pick-me-up as a result of City Council’s approval for a new Ziggi’s Coffee to be built at 8860 W 116th Circle.
Franchise owners Justin and Melissa Livingston have been familiar with the behind-the-scenes work of Ziggi’s ownership for years because Justin is the company’s vice president of franchise development.
“I’ve been helping other people get into Ziggi’s for years, and the time aligned for my wife and I to pursue this dream of our own,” Justin Livingston said.
The Livingstons live in Superior but are “about a 30 second walk” from Broomfield and were excited about the community, location and development happening in the area.
“We’re excited to immerse ourselves in that community, get to know people, provide jobs and be a part of something that’s already blossoming in that area,” Justin Livingston said.
Colorado-based Ziggi’s began with a corner coffee shop in downtown Longmont in 2004 and has since expanded to locations across the United States. Ziggi’s menus include specialty coffee, tea, Italian sodas, smoothies, energy drinks and breakfast food.
The new store will include drive-thru and walk-up options, which required Council approval because drive-thru restaurants were not previously allowed under the area’s development plan.
Barring any delays, the store will open by the end of 2022, Justin Livingston said.
