The Longmont Humane Society announced Thursday that it is looking for board members.
Terms for the humane society’s board serve two years. The responsibilities include participating in fundraisers, community outreach, donor recruitment, committee work and monthly meetings.
While the Longmont Humane Society desires board members have experience in veterinary medicine, veterinary hospital experience, finance, fundraising and nonprofit board membership or leadership, it is not a requirement to apply.
Interviews are expected to take place in the fall and selected members will begin their terms in January.
