In loving memory of Clint "Joby" Joseph Farfel, who peacefully passed away on April 10, 2024, surrounded by his sons at St. Anthony's North Hospital in Thornton, Colorado. Clint was born on December 28, 1952, in Denver, Colorado, to his parents Elwood and Ellen Farfel.
While growing up in Sayreville, New Jersey, Clint's adventurous spirit led him to excel as a gymnast while also achieving the esteemed rank of an Eagle Scout, earning its highest honor the "Order of the Arrow." He furthered his education at Middlesex Community College, earning an associate's degree before embarking on his journey to Colorado in his early twenties.
Throughout his life, Clint was a dedicated Master Journeyman Electrician with Local Union #68 in Denver, where he applied his skills with precision and passion. Beyond his professional pursuits, Clint was an avid outdoorsman, finding solace and joy in activities such as fishing, hunting various game, and particularly, his cherished pastime of archery Elk and Deer hunting. He instilled his love for the wilderness and wildlife in his two beloved sons, Matthew and Clayton. Clint leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion.
He is survived by his sons Matthew (Heidi) and Clayton (Britni) Farfel, and his adored grandchildren Lilly, Mattison, Abraham, Barrett, and Timber. He is also remembered fondly by his siblings Lou Ann Jensen, Roy Farfel, Lee Kimberlin, Glenn Farfel, Robin Rocha, and their families.
Clint is preceded in death by his parents, Elwood Farfel in 1984 and Ellen Farfel in 2024, both of New Jersey.
A celebration of Clint's life will be held on April 27 at 2pm at Rundus Funeral Home, located at 1998 W 10th Ave, Broomfield, CO 80020.
Following the services, we invite all who attended to join the family at Clint’s favorite pizza shop, "The Original NY Style Pizza," located at 1300 W Midway Blvd, Broomfield, CO 80020. Let's gather together to share cherished memories of Clint over slices of his favorite pie, honoring his love for good food and good company.
Clint will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will forever live on in the memories and hearts of those he touched.
