Hiking trails close in Boulder County due to melting snow

More closures are expected throughout the week.

Today Boulder County announced that the Picture Rock Trail at Heil Valley Ranch is closed due to muddy conditions. 
All trials at Heil Valley Ranch are now closed and Boulder County Parks and Open Space predict more closures will be seen throughout the week as snow melts. 
Temperatures are predicted to reach the mid- to upper-40s for most of the week. The latter part of the week is expected to see temperatures reach the mid-50s.A
Warmer, yet mild temperatures are sure to see an increase in hikers. The Boulder County Open Space and Trails Listings is updated regularly as closures and openings are announced.
