The City of Longmont Finance Department has released the sales and uses tax division analysis of taxes for the month of June 2017. According to the report, total sales and use tax for the month of June 2017 was $5,577,573 and saw a decrease of 8.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF A Longmont resident in the 2700 block of Copper Peak Lane reported an incident of vandalism to her vehicle. The case status is open and has been forwarded for follow up.

A black bear was spotted by a dog walker in Longmont around lunch time today. The animal was high in a tree along Left Hand Creek between Hover and Sunset.

MISSING PERSON On August 13, 2017 the Longmont Police Department received a report of a runaway juvenile female. A report was taken and a 937 has been submitted to CCIC/NCIC. Case is closed.
